Mission October - NLCS, Game Five

The Diamondbacks sent ace Brandon Webb to the mound looking to avoid elimination.  The Phillies countered with their ace Cole Hamels.

Recap

Hamels was touched for 5 early runs including a 3 run Chris Snyder blast in the 2nd inning.  Hamels settled down after the 3rd, but the Philly comeback attempt was too little too late as Jose Valvede closed out a 5-3 win.

The series returns to Arizona with the Diamondbacks down 3-2.
